Bryant’s Contracting Since 1991

It all began when our owner, Steven Bryant, graduated high school and started digging footers for residential sites with his grandpa’s 1964 Ford tractor that had a backhoe attachment.

Steven has been working at construction sites since 1991, and incorporated Bryant's Contracting in 2004. Since then, he has continued to grow and build Bryant's into what it is currently. However, it is not uncommon to see Steven on one of our sites helping where he can.

In the Fall of 2024, Bryant's main office location moved to the heart of Mount Airy, NC.

Leadership

Steven Bryant

Managing Member

Oversees the management and marketing of Bryant’s Contracting. Has 28 years of experience working in all capacities at sites, from laborer to truck driver and equipment operator. Steven is the qualifier for the licenses that Bryant’s Contracting LLC holds.

Susan Bryant

Managing Member

Susan Bryant, also a Managing Member, oversees all financial aspects of the business. With a Master’s Degree in Accounting from UNC Chapel Hill and 29 years of experience, she ensures our operations are financially sound and efficient. She joined Bryant’s Contracting LLC in 1997 and became a partner in 1999.

Elliott Johnson

Vice President

With over 15 years of experience similar to Steven’s, Elliott manages multiple projects and supervises all work at Bryant’s Contracting LLC. He is responsible for handling estimations, including detailed take-offs, estimate preparation, and preparing bid documents.
